Reframed ("we", "our", or "the app") is built on the principle that your inner life is private. The reflections, thought records, and personal data you enter into Reframed are stored only on your device and are never transmitted to our servers, sold, or shared with third parties for advertising purposes.
This policy describes what limited information is collected, why, and how it is handled.
We do not collect, transmit, or store on any server:
All of the above is stored exclusively in your device's local storage (AsyncStorage) and remains under your control.
Subscription and purchase data. Reframed uses RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions and purchases. When you subscribe, RevenueCat and Apple process your payment and may collect purchase metadata (e.g. transaction IDs, subscription status) in accordance with their own privacy policies. We receive only the entitlement status (whether your subscription is active) — we do not receive your payment details.
Apple App Store data. If you download the app through the Apple App Store, Apple may collect certain usage and diagnostic data as described in Apple's Privacy Policy. This is outside our control.
No analytics or crash reporting. Reframed does not currently integrate any analytics SDK (such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Firebase Analytics) or crash reporting service. We do not track screens viewed, buttons tapped, session length, or any behavioural data.
All app data is stored locally using React Native's AsyncStorage. This data is sandboxed to the app by iOS and is included in your device's encrypted backup if you have iCloud Backup enabled. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
We do not operate a backend, user accounts, or authentication system. There is no account to delete because no account is created.
Reframed is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will address it promptly.
If we make material changes to this privacy policy — for example, if we add analytics or a backend service — we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and provide notice within the app. Continued use of the app after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
